Roberto Bellini

Robert Bellini graduated in Design from Escola de Belas Artes, UFMG.

He took part in many group exhibitions in Brazil and abroad with pieces of several different medias. Bellini participated in shows such as the 61° Festival Internacional de Cinema in Locarno, Switzerland; Paraísos Indômitos at the Vigo Contemporary Art Museum, in Spain; 14° e 15° VideoBrasil in São Paulo, Brazil; Kunst Film Biennale in Germany; “Lone Star Video” at Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv,  “Ways to See”at the Centro Fundación Telefónica, Peru.

Bellini has a MD in Transmedia from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. Due to his studies in Texas Bellini he was able to take part in many american important shows, such as  the Texas Biennial of 2007, “This Land is Your Land” at the Chicago Museum of Contemporary Photography, and Texas/Nexus at the Houston Contemporary Arts Museum.

His videos have been awarded at the 15º Salão de Arte da Bahia, the Festival do Filme Livre in Rio de Janeiro, the 2ª Bienal de Video Inter-americano in the USA and at the 10° Festival de Cinema de Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal.
