With over 30 years of experience as an art dealer and 13 years as a gallerist, Artur Fidalgo is an important reference in the Brazilian art map. With a keen eye for discovering new talents in the country, Fidalgo launched and supported artists of the 1980s, 1990s and contemporary scenes.
In 2012, he held an exhibition with works of veteran Anna Bella Geiger and gave room for a solo show of a new generation artist Danilo Ribeiro. This year, he brings to the gallery the work of Hildebrando de Castro, that opens the next exhibition after Paulo Climachauska’s. Recently, Fidalgo has been investing in new artists such as Fernando de La Rocque, Malu Saddi, Rafael Carneiro and Gabriel Centurion.
