São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, 1984.
Lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil.

PIPA 2015 Nominee.

Bruno Kurru articulates, in his works, layers of images and words as a strategy for the construction of his poetics, maintaining continuous reflections on the occupation of space, whether it is the surface of the painting or the space of reality. However, by lifting an ideological weight, the artist reallocates the social function of discourse by inverting the subjects – target and trigger – of political actions.
