Almeida graduated in printmaking from the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He studied screenprinting with Evany Cardoso at the School of the Visual Arts of Parque Lage and Art History with Jailton Moreira at Rede Maré (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil). In 2007, he earned an Artistic Talents scholarship from the Furnas Sociocultural Incubator Programme, and in 2008, he won the Graffiti Category Award at the 47th Salon of Visual Arts of Pernambuco. In 2009, he participated in the VI International Art Biennial Siart, in La Paz, Bolivia, and participated in the following exhibitions in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: “Iluminando o Novo” at Largo das Artes and Cultural Space Furnas, and “Vem Na Mão” at the Federal Justice Cultural Centre. In 2010, Almeida had his first solo exhibition, “Uma Cidade de Xapisco Dividida por um Muro de Cau”, at Amarelonegro Gallery in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He has participated in the following group exhibitions: “Abre Alas 6” at A Gentil Carioca (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), “Arquivo Geral” at Carioca Centre of Design (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), and “Reality Reimagined” at Modified Arts (Phoenix, USA). In 2011, he earned the scholarship Forest Interactions from Terra UNA. In 2015, Almeida participated in the group exhibition “MANIFESTO” at Mercedes Viegas Arte Contemporânea in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
