Fernando Lindote was born in Sant’Ana do Livramento, city in the border between Brazil and Uruguay. He was a cartoonist for newspapers in the south of Brazil before dedicating himself to the visual arts. The language most used by the artist, since the beginning of his trajectory, by the end of the 1970s, was the installation. Along his career he carried out performance, painting, photography, video, drawing and sculpture for institutional and urban spaces.
