Independent curator. Co-founded Elefante Centro Cultural together with the artist Matias Mesquita, an independent art space and artistic residency, where she worked as main art director until 2015. The exhibitions aimed to encourage experimental projects of artists such as: Antônio Obá, Adriana Vignoli, Bruno Kurru, Sandra Lapage, Luciana Paiva, Bia Medeiros, Paul Setúbal, Matias Mesquita, Sarah Burger, Elián Stolarsky and Rita Almeida. Flavia developed other several special projects, including the Transborda Brasília Prize (2013-2015) and a series of pop-up exhibition project in a modernist and residential building in Brasília (2011-2012). More recently, in London, Flavia curated, together with Clara Rocha, the exhibition “Ongoing”, at the Brazilian Embassy, with the artists Rubiane Maia and Luciana Magno.
