Graduated in Visual Arts from PUC-Campinas, Brazil. He worked for three years as an assistant artist in Marcelo Moscheta’s studio.
In 2013 he exhibited “Estudo para medir forças” in the France-Brazil House (Rio de Janeiro, RJ), integrating the Safe Project; Besides being awarded in the PROAC Visual Arts Publication, issued by the Government of the State of São Paulo. In 2012 he was awarded the Funarte Marc Ferrez Photography Prize, in addition to having participated in the international residence “Transitante: entre álbuns e arquivos” at the Municipal Photographic Archive of Lisbon, Portugal.
He has works in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro / Gilberto Chateaubriand Collection (Rio de Janeiro, RJ), Rio de Janeiro Art Museum (Rio de Janeiro, RJ), Cerveira Biennial Foundation, among others.
In 2016 he exhibited the solo “I need to tell you about tomorrow” at Luciana Caravello Arte Contemporânea (RJ), in addition to receiving the FOCO Bradesco ArtRio award; in 2015 the individual “I want to see”, in Casa Triângulo and participated in the collective “Encruzilhada” in Lage Park, in Rio de Janeiro. In 2014, he exhibited the solo “Cuando Cai o Céu”, at São Paulo Cultural Center, in addition to participating in the “New Acquisitions of the Gilberto Chateaubriand Collection” at MAM and “Pororoca, Amazônia no MAR” at the Museu de Arte From Rio.
In 2013 he exhibited “Study to measure forces”, in the France-Brazil House, integrating the Safe Project; Besides being awarded in the PROAC Visual Arts Publication, issued by the Government of the State of São Paulo. In 2012, he was awarded the Funarte Marc Ferrez Photography Prize, as well as being nominated for the Professional Art Investor Award (PIPA) and having participated in the international residency “Transitante: between albums and archives” at the Municipal Photographic Archive of Lisbon / Portugal.
Among his main solo exhibitions are: “Feeling Blind”, at Luciana Caravello Contemporary Art, “Quase / Collection”, at the Museu da República (Rio de Janeiro), “Nobody” at the Paço das Artes (São Paulo) That’s all I need to remember “, at SESC Campinas, and” A Pausa do Retrato “at Usina do Gasômetro (Porto Alegre).
