The Award Jury, which is composed of five to seven members indicated by the PIPA’s Board, is responsible for electing the winner of the R$ 100,000.00 prize.
Amongst members of the Award Jury there will be a representative of the Institution in which the winner will pursue a residency programme.
The Award Jury’s composition will change annually.

- Catalina Lozano (curator and representative of Gasworks Residency Program)
- Gilberto Chateaubriand (collector)
- Lisette Lagnado (curator)
- Luiz Camillo Osorio curator of Museum of Modern Art of Rio de Janeiro – MAM-Rio).
The Award Jury elected Renata Lucas as PIPA 2010 winner.
