Marta Jourdan trained in drama and  cinema, completing her studies at École Jacques Le Coq, in Paris, where she developed techniques for constructing stage props. During this period she worked in the Centre Pompidou’s archive. Her work is exhibited in many languages. Since, 2005 she has been developing a series of kinetic sculptures. Apart from sculptures, she also produces drawings, photographs and videos.
