PIPA Online 2011 winner: Iuri Sarmento

PIPA Online is the Prize’s category that rewards an artist chosen by the public via the internet.

To run for PIPA Online 2011 the artist needed at least 100 likes.
The most voted artist received R$10,000 (ten thousand reais).

All the nominated artists for PIPA 2011 were invited to participate on the PIPA Online context, but this is not a step required for the nominees.

PIPA Online 2011 gathered 66 artists and during 62 days of voting, 9.389 votes were computed.
Voting began on August 11th and ended on October 12th, 2011.

Last year, this category accounted for 3.987 votes, and the winner Ana Paula Oliveira received 517 votes.

This year, among the most voted artists, we had 3 with over 1.000 votes and other 18 with over 100.

The PIPA Online 2011 winner was Iuri Sarmento, with 2213 votes.
