PIPA Online 2011

The poll for the PIPA Online 2011 was closed on October 12.

The PIPA Online 2011 winner,  announced on October 17, 2011, is Iuri Sarmento

PIPA Online rewards an artist chosen by the public via the internet, with the amount of R$10,000 ( about US$6,000)

All the nominated artists for PIPA 2011 were invited to participate on the PIPA Online context, but this is not a step required for the nominees.

To win PIPA Online 2011 the artist needed at least 100 likes.

HOW DOES THE PIPA ONLINE WORK IN 2011

The poll will take place here on the website, at each participating artist profile’s page, where you will find a vote “box”.
We will be using the Facebook tool, called “like”. In this vote box there is a “like” button.
As we will be using a tool from Facebook, to vote a Facebook account is needed. We are using the Facebook platform to avoid multiple votes from one single person. The Facebook system allows only one “like” per person, but one can vote (“like”) for as many artist he wants to.

TO VOTE

1. The first step to vote is to create an account at Facebook.
2. Checkout the list that is shown above  with  the artists participating on the PIPA Online 2011 context. Click on the name of the artist you want to vote for. The link will take you to the artist’s page.
3. Click like on the vote box, next to a green kite, on the right side of the page.
4. You can repeat steps 2 and 3, and click like for many artists you like.

Obs: If you are already with you Facebook account page open, your “vote” will be added immediately. If not, it will appear a box asking for your email and password to add your vote.

PIPA will not have access to your information at Facebook.
