Virgílio Neto was born in 1986 in Brasília but spent his childhood in the city of Anápolis, Goiás. He moved back to Brasília in 2004 to join the Graphic Design course at the University of Brasília – UnB. Since his first exhibition in 2008 he has been exhibiting his work in many cities around Brazil. In 2011, he was selected to be part of the project Rumos Itaú Cultural. In 2012, he won the first prize at the Prêmio EDP nas Artes of Tomie Ohtake Institute. Also in the same year, he had his book of drawings, “Perhaps it is not a Small World”, published by A Bolha Press.
