Patricia Teles is an artist-researcher and works with performance art, theatre, video, self-portraits, GIFs and participatory installations. She uses her own body as a means of experimentation and is interested in autobiographical narratives, ‘low technologies’ and ‘Latinamericanities’ (Latin American cultural expressions).
In 2019 she participated in the II Vera Brant Award (Brasília-DF) and crossed South America by land, from the Atlantic to the Pacific, to be part of the exhibition SACO 8 – Destination, in Antofagasta in Chile. In 2018 she held his first solo exhibition, ‘Aquário Betta’, at Galeria Espaço Piloto (Brasília-DF).
She holds a PhD in Art and Technology (University of Brasília), an M.A. in Combined Artistic Languages (National University of Arts – Argentina) and a B.A. in Theater Direction (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro).
