Rachel Cecília de Oliveira is Adjunct Professor of the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Minas Gerais – UFMG/Brazil. She served on the board of Brazilian Association of Aesthetics – ABRE – for two terms and was visiting professor at Université Paris I – Pantheon-Sorbonne. Currently, she is editor in chief of UFMG Graduate Journal in Arts – Revista Pós – and leader of the research group Decolonial Experiments. She works the plurality of contemporary art on the intersections between philosophy, theory, history and criticism of the arts. Furthermore, works as a critic and curator.
