erre erre is a visual artist, graphic designer and editor of the ‘fera miúda ediç ̃es’. His artwork transits among drawings, collages, paintings, engravings, installations and printed matter. He makes use of both authorial productions and appropriations of images and/or elements already in circulation. A practice that is guided by encounters and shocks; by contingencies, confluences and deviations.

Ricardo Reis a.k.a. erre erre (1987, Santos – SP), lives and works in Belo Horizonte-MG, is a visual artist, illustrator, graphic designer and editor of the publisher ‘fera miúda ediç ̃es’. In the field of visual arts, he works with drawings, collages, paintings, prints, installations.

All of them were held at the metropolitan area of Belo Horizonte/MG; Among the recent residences, stand out: ocupaESpai, held in May 2018, at ESPAI ateliê, Belo Horizonte/MG; 1st Residência Feira Plana, held between September and November 2014, São Paulo/SP; Baldio, a self-managed residency held between February and April 2015, at Sesc Palladium, Belo Horizonte-MG; 9th edition of the Residência artística Red Bull Station, held between September and November 2015, at Red Bull Station, in São Paulo-SP and 5th edition of the Prêmio Bolsa Pampulha, held between September 2013 and February 2014, in Belo Horizonte-MG. Among the awards: Fellowship Program at Akademie Schloss Solitude (2020/2021); Acquisition Prize of the 6th Salon of Contemporary Art Luiz Sacilotto (2018), Prêmio Bolsa Pampulha – Pampulha Museum (2014) and Prêmio EDP nas artes, held at Tomie Ohtake Institute (2012), in São Paulo, SP.
