In 2014, she took part in the artistic residence Bolsa Pampulha, held by Museu the Arte da Pampulha, in Belo Horizonte, a venue in which she presented the musical performance “Prison Break” and the installation “Carne Vermelha” (“Red flesh”). In 2015 she was an artist in residence at Red Bull Station in São Paulo, where she recorded her first musical album, “Ômega III”, that was awarded the “Prêmio Dynamite” of best pop album of 2016. The album was well received by the public and the media, and got published in several websites, blogs and newspapers. Following “Ômega III”, Sara performed in several music festivals and venues, among which Virada Cultural in São Paulo and Belo Horizonte (2017, 2018), Itaú Cultural in São Paulo (2018), Festival Sêla and Mostra Sêla at CCSP and Casa Natura in São Paulo (2017, 2018), the festivals Traço and Palco Ultra at Autêntica in Belo Horizonte (2016), Festival Bananada in Goiânia (2016), Festival Febre in Sorocaba (2016), Festival Puxadinho da Praça and Festival do Bar Secreto in São Paulo (2015, 2016). Sara has also contributed to the recordings of several albums and collections, among which the 3th collection of Mostra Cantautores (2013), Novíssima Música Brasileira (2016) and Mulheres Fora da Caixa – Vol.1 (2017).
She took part in several art fairs, among which Feira Parte (2014), in which her artwork “Andar de cima” got selected for Adriano Casanova’s wishlist; Feira Arte-Rio (2016), in which her artwork “Fronteira #2” got selected for the wishlist of MAR (Museu de Arte do Rio) and she was a finalist of the award Artigo Rio-2016; and she was the youngest artist at SP-Arte foto in 2016, when her artwork “Belo Horizonte” was highlighted by Fernanda Feitosa. In 2017, she was one of the creators of “Tarda”, an audiovisual project. In 2020 this project was awarded at Edital Som e Fúria, promoted by Galpão Cine Horto, to enable the developed of a show to release their album “Futuro”, and in the same year the project was awarded a short-film grant at BDMG with their video “Buraco de afundar”. In 2018, Sara graduated with a bachelor in Visual Arts at the School of Fine Arts of UFMG. In the same year her song “Grandma, I Love you so”, which is part of her first album, was awarded for the best videoclip and best song at Festclip (SP). In 2019, she went on her first international tour, performing in Portugal and Finland. She also participated of Residência Poça (MG) and was awarded at Festival da Canção de Ouro Preto (MG). Her first solo show, “Situações”, took place at Memorial Minas Gerais Vale in 2019, year in which she was awarded a sponsorship by Natura Musical to record her second studio album, “A situação”, to be released in 2021.
She has artworks in the collections of Museu de Arte da Pampulha (in Belo Horizonte), Red Bull Station (in São Paulo) and at Casa do Olhar Luiz Sacilotto (in Santo André).
