Sara Seilert is the director of the National Museum of the Republic in Brasilia (2021 – current). She holds a Master’s degree in Information Science (2023) from the University of Brasília (UnB), with research on the formation of contemporary art museum collections, specifically the collection of the National Museum of the Republic. Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the University of Brasília (2012). Cultural Activities Analyst, specialized in Fine and Visual Arts, at the Federal District Secretariat for Culture and Creative Economy (2018). She is a professional member of the Brazilian Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM Brazil). Sara has experience in managing contemporary art projects, educational programs and museum management.
